PITCH SESSIONS

Here is a list of the pitch sessions that we have lined up for the 2009 Stoker Weekend.

Pitch sessions allow authors to talk to an agent, editor, or Hollywood producer about their work. This year we have some truly amazing pitch sessions lined up: Producers

  • Don Murphy. Producer of Transformers, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell, Apt Pupil and many other films.
  • Zac Sanford. Producer of The Disembodied, Sleeper, and Ghost Town.

Editors

  • Leisure Books - Don D'Auria
  • Medallion Press - Helen Rosburg
  • Bloodletting Press - Larry Roberts
  • Cargo Cult Press - Brian and Beth Cartwright

Agents

  • Robert Fleck - Professional Media Services
  • Peter Miller - PMA Literary Agency

Pitch sessions will all be held on Saturday, June 13, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You can attend a maximum of two pitch sessions. To sign up, please email Jeannie Eddy.

If you're a novice at pitching (or experienced but want to pick up some more tips), we highly recommend that you attend Jeannie Eddy's How to Pitch Workshop on Friday at 1 P.M.

Important Note: You must already have registered to attend the Stoker Weekend BEFORE signing up for pitch sessions. Pitch sessions are offered on a first-come first-served basis.
